I fell in love with jewellery making about four years ago and after a while was not satisfied with just designing. I had a need to create. I took a class in fusing and was hooked immediately, after that I took a small class in glass beadmaking. I have been totally obsessed with melting glass ever since. It is a challenging medium to work with but when you manage to perfect a technique you have a feeling of immense pride and achievement. I hope you enjoy looking at my creations, please email me if you have any questions, only too happy to help or talk glass I am a proud member of the Australian Glass Beadmakers Guild and am registered as a self representing artist in the SRA-ANZ, click on the logo to learn more about handmade beads and self representing artists I handmake all my glass beads in my home studio and they are annealed in a digital kiln to ensure that all the stress and strain from manipulating the molten glass has been neutralised. However I must stress that these beads and pendants are made of glass and if treated badly eg dropping on concrete they may break. They also may represent a choking hazard to small children. I have recently become smitten with silver and copper and hope to spend more time with metalwork in the near future. I stand behind the quality of my work and if you are not pleased with your purchase please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss a refund or replacement. |
